Andrey Velichkovsky

Andrey Velichkovsky has been interested in art since his childhood when his grandmother was showing him reproductions of famous artists of Renaissance and Russian modernists. When he was 14 years he began to study at an art school. Since then he has participated in different local art exhibitions in Kazan, Russia (1998). In 2000 he became a diploma awarded laureate of the yang artist exhibition "From past to the Future" in the frames of the International. cultural festival, Kazan.

“Our brain can interact with surroundings, get information and like a prism can create new objects and express surroundings, feelings in artistic form. I believe painting or sketch art is that form of art which can express everything, for example abstract art can express mathematics and music. Art can express laws of Universe just in one picture which can be felt and understood by others in symbols. In my philosophy I want to combine art and science. Science and art are both forms of creativeness and over them, God can talk with us. In my works I am trying to find many shades, I want to show that not only green color for example exist in leaves but thousands of its shades. This is a small part of spectroscopy science which is included in my pictures already.”
