Hannah Marie

Hannah Marie is a freelance artist currently working in the New England area of the United States. Since earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University in 2016, she has been selling both original and custom artwork to be shipped all around the country. Hannah’s work has been awarded on both local and international levels, including but not limited to the 2020 International All Color Theme Competition, the 2017 Sedona International Art Prizes, the 2016 Morton Illinois Art Show, the 2016 Premios Ejercito Edicion in Madrid, Spain, and the 2015 NCIF/O'Keefe Elevator Company Art Show in Omaha, Nebraska. Hannah also continues to display her art locally by participating in exhibitions in galleries, coffee shops, small businesses etc.

“I constantly create art because it is my outlet, my coping mechanism, and my passion. I focus mainly on the human figure, especially faces. I am greatly intrigued by the power of facial expressions, which is likely why I gravitate toward them in my work. Drawing or painting the human face is my way of exploring the human experience in an intimate, yet distanced manner.”
