Madeleine Turgeon
Photographer
Madeleine Turgeon is a Canadian professional artist who resides near Montreal. She has studied Art & Design at OCAD & U in Toronto, Canada and apprenticed with painters and mosaic artists in Europe and New Zealand. She has been painting professionally since 1995 and is currently exploring new contemporary approach of the 3D mosaic. Despite forays into mixed media and broken ceramic, she has always returned to the medium that got her career started: painting. She captures in a unique way the essence and diversity of nature. Her images are an endeavor to capture the essence of Canada.
Madeleine is an expressionist and a colorist with a great deal of sensitivity. She inspires herself from the complexity of nature, as it is wild and untamable. She continues to rediscover it through its permanence as well as its continuous renewal. The mysterious and intangible connection between nature and poetry provide her an inexhaustible inspiration.
“My art begins at that point where I can no longer express myself in words! Artistic exuberance guides me, collaboration nourishes me and challenges make me grow!”
