Sheryl Hughes

Sheryl Hughes was born in California and now lives in Florida. Sheryl is a multi-Award Winning Artist and she has been taking her photographs for many years and now uses those pictures as inspiration for her paintings. She spends hours in the wetlands, zoos and scuba diving photographing animals above and below water. She enjoys painting eyes as that is what brings the paintings to life as you can look into the soul of the animals.

“My art is all about wildlife, I spend hours out taking photos of Birds, Cats, and animals large and small. I strive to show my love of nature, both on land and water through my paintings. I love painting the eyes of the animals as it shows the sole of each different animal. I love traveling to zoos and wildlife areas to get my inspirations for my paintings.”
