“As a visual artist, I strive to introduce my viewer to the unconventional beauty of every day places and things and their associated chaos- to a beauty that may not be at eye level. I am an adventurer, builder, creator, and urban explorer inspired by eye catching flashes of the sublime in our every day lives. Maybe you won't find truth and beauty at eye level. Maybe you’ll find it in the chaos of the daily, the abandoned, looking skyward or kneeling on the ground. Maybe you'll find it in the gentle light of dawn you take for granted each day. Maybe you'll find it in abandoned ancient cars and razed, graffiti-filled buildings, unimaginably vast landscapes, humanity blossoming in the destruction of war or up-close inspections of flowers and twigs and dew drops.”
“I have made art of all kinds since childhood; painting, printmaking, sculpture. But the immediacy, intimacy, and the ability to physically explore while photographing helps me find the truth and beauty in our world in a shutter's speed.”
