Viktoria Zhulego

Viktoria Zhulego was born and lives currently in the Republic of Belarus. She studies at the Belarusian State Technological University and worked in big international companies for many years until she realized what is really important in her life.
Viktoria prefers minimalism in life, and this influence is present in her drawings. Each of them includes only two or three primary colors, and their shades come from the palette of natural colors. Usually one drawing is focused on one object from the natural world.
“Once I heard that an artist should draw what he loves. It was in winter, very cold outside – minus 20°C (minus 4 °F), snow everywhere, everything is frozen for many months. I’ve constantly lacked green plants and birdsong. I felt physical need in nature. Green plants and bird’s voices – these is what could bring me to life. So, I’ve started to draw plants and every drawing is an attempt to show my love to them. Capturing their beauty became the purpose of my life".

"All the most beautiful things have been already created by nature. My drawings are based on my feeling of nature, it’s harmony and calmness and I try to transfer these feelings to paper, following the instinct and something coming from my heart.
